The Station Art Gallery, LLC, 11 English Street, Westfield, NY will present Plein Air Westfield 2014, July 16 - July 20.
The juried event will feature artists from Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Canada. The Juror of Awards will be Katherine Galbraith, owner of The Station Art Gallery, LLC.
Galbraith has exhibited in juried shows throughout the United States and has won many awards herself. She is a member of Oil Painters of America, American Women Artists, American Impressionist Society, and North Shore Arts Alliance.
Artists will paint within a 20-mile radius of Westfield. Approved sites include the Cherry Festival in North East, PA, Lake Erie State Park, Chautauqua Institution, Bemus Point, the Nass Day Lilly Farm, Barcelona Harbor, Chautauqua Gorge, Greystone Nature Conservancy, and Johnston Estate Winery. On Saturday, July 19 at 9 a.m., the artists will meet at the Westfield Village Square to paint the Farmers Market. A "Wet Paint Show and Sale" will be held at The Station Art Gallery on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and again on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. An awards presentation will be held on Saturday at 9 p.m. where artists will vie for more than $2,000 in cash and merchandise.

The Station Art Gallery opened in May 2013 and is home to nationally recognized artist Katherine Galbraith whose representational work includes landscapes, portraits, trains and images from Chautauqua County.
The Station Art Gallery is open weekends from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and by appointment.
