July 3, 2013
Westfield Republican / Mayville Sentinel News

JAMESTOWN - The Chautauqua County Veterans Service Agency has announced the Chautauqua County Veterans Van to the Buffalo Veterans Affairs Medical Center will not be available for service on Friday, July 5 due to the Independence Day holiday on July 4.

The shuttle service offered to area veterans will resume its normal operations on Monday, July 8. The Veterans Service Agency apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause for riders.

The Chautauqua County Veterans Van is a free service that provides veterans with transportation to and from the Buffalo VAMC for medical appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Although the service is free, donations to use the shuttle service are greatly appreciated.

To reserve a seat on the Veterans Shuttle Van to the Buffalo VAMC for medical appointments, area veterans and dependents can call 665-6466 or toll free at 1-800-388-6534.

To find out more about the Chautauqua County Veterans Service Agency and what it offers for veterans, call 363-3842 for the Dunkirk office or 661-8255 for the Jamestown office.
