JAMESTOWN - Parent Network of Western New York will be holding an upcoming workshop in Jamestown.
Families who have children and/or young adults with special needs are encouraged to attend. These workshops will provide useful information, tips and strategies. Saturday, April 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Prendergast Library, 509 Cherry St., Jamestown: New York State Parent Member Training. This New York State Education Department training is intended to provide parent members who sit on the Committees on Preschool and School Age Special Education with an understanding of their role, requirements and the special education process. Participants will learn techniques and strategies to fulfill the parent member role in a meeting.
