Linnea A. McDonald, 82, formerly of Panama, passed away peacefully Monday (April 15, 2013) in the Chautauqua County Home, Dunkirk.
A lifelong area resident, she was born April 24, 1930, in the Town of Ellery the daughter of the late Leo B. and Marjorie Hill McDonald.
Linnea attended Panama and Dunkirk schools and was a member of Our Lady of Snows Catholic Church, Panama. She enjoyed feeding birds and cats.
She is survived by three brothers, Joseph McDonald of Jamestown, Craig McDonald of Ashville and Jesse McDonald of Falconer.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sister, Anne Proudman, Leah McDonald and Sheila McDonald; and a brother, Quentin McDonald.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Joseph Jananczek, pastor of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
Memorials may be donated to Hospice of Chautauqua County or Meals on Wheels.
