Joyce C. Bensink, 81, of 8392 Ravlin Hill Rd., Clymer passed away Saturday, March 13, 2013, at Corry Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Jan. 24, 1932, the daughter of the late Vernon and Frances Castle Collins.

Joyce was employed by the Corry Memorial Hospital for 22 years as a medical records technician. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 53 years and was member of the Clymer Hill Reformed Church Guild. Joyce's main focus throughout her life was her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Tanya (Gary) Smith of South Kingtown, R.I.; sons, Lance (Donna) Bensink of Clymer, N.Y., and Jabin (Linda) Bensink of Millsboro, Del.; grandchildren, Ryan (Samantha) Bensink of Clymer, N.Y., Travis (Tawn) Bensink of Greensboro, N.C., Nathan Bensink of Julliete, Ga., Air Force Staff SGT Lara Bensink (Willard Giron) of Fort Bragg, N.C., U.S. Army National Guard SPC Matthew Smith of Warren, Pa., Jocelyn Bensink of Clymer, N.Y., and Army ROTC Staff SGT Chad Bensink of Millsboro, Del.; and five great-grandchildren, Kiaya and Luka Bensink of Clymer, N.Y., Thandon and Tatum Bensink of Greensboro N.C., and Tristan Browerak of Fort Bragg, N.C.; her sister, Joanne (John) Murphy, The Villages, Fla.; and also by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Irwin J. Bensink, whom she married Aug. 12, 1951 and who died Dec. 12, 2011; sisters, Betty Sloan and Shirley Shaver; and an infant brother.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. No calling hours will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, make donations to the Clymer Volunteer Fire Department or the American Legion Post No. 638.

She will be loved and missed by many.
