WESTFIELD - Westfield Academy and Central School will be presenting the musical "How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the school's auditorium.
Featured in the production will be around 70 high school students in this comic presentation of how window washer, Pierrepont Finch, rises to chairman of the board of the World Wide Wicket Corporation. This musical originates in the early 1960s and was recently revived on Broadway in 2011 featuring Daniel Radcliffe.
Westfield senior Kenny Wood will be starring as Pierrepont Finch, Lucy Knappenberger as his love interest, Rosemary, Bill Nowell as J.R. Biggley, the president of the company, Chris Cockram as Bud, the boss's nephew, and Kristin Grohol as the stunning Hedy LaRue.

Music and lyrics are written by Frank Loesser and book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert. The production is directed by Kent Knappenberger and choreographed by Emma Bishop and Chloe Forsell. Besides being a graduate of Westfield High School, Bishop has operated the Centerstage Dance Studio in Westfield for 25 years. Previously, she worked in New York City as a Rockette and as a dance teacher. She also has many years experience choreographing for high schools in New Jersey.
