Westfield Police Department 01/31/13

WESTFIELD - Thomas F. Stoughton, 30, of E. Main St., Westfield was charged with driving while intoxicated, speed in zone and covered plate on Sunday, Jan. 20.

According to the police office, a patrolman on W. Main St., in the Village of Westfield allegedly observed a westbound vehicle at a high rate of speed on W. Main St., around midnight and pulled over the vehicle. Upon further investigation, the operator was allegedly identified as Stoughton, and he was allegedly found to be intoxicated. Stoughton was charged and will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date to answer the charges.

WESTFIELD - Victor O. Sanchez, 26, of W. Second St., Dunkirk was arrested on two warrants out of the City of Dunkirk on Thursday, Jan. 24.

According to the police office, Westfield police were assisting New York State Police on Crandall St., in the Village of Westfield around 8 p.m. During the house check for a subject on parole, officers allegedly encountered Sanchez. Sanchez was arrested by the Westfield Police Department and turned over to the Dunkirk Police Department.

WESTFIELD - Ryan K. Lacey, 19, of Erie, Pa., was charged with charged with unlawful possession of marihuana and speed in zone and an 18-year-old male from Harborcreek, Pa., was charged with unlawful possession of marihuana on Saturday, Jan. 26.

According to the police office, a patrolman on W. Main St., in the Village of Westfield allegedly observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed for zone and stopped the vehicle along W. Main St., in the Village of Westfield. Upon further investigation, two males were allegedly found to be in possession of a small amount of marihuana. Both subjects were charged and will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.
