JAMESTOWN - The Chautauqua County Humane Society announced the fifth annual Hot Dogs, Cool Cats online pet photo contest.

The contest allows participants to upload digital photos of their beloved companion(s) and share a story about their pet in a competition for prizes and the title of "CCHS 2013 Pet of the Year."

The contest will award three prize packages to entrants whose photos and accompanying narratives are voted as the best by website visitors. The top 12 vote getters will be displayed on the 2013 CCHS pet calendar. Each Tuesday morning for four weeks, a weekly "Playful Pet Prize Package" will be awarded to the top vote getter for that week.
