BROCTON - The Ahira Hall Memorial Library, 37 West Main Street, Brocton, will be offering its first fall AARP Driver Safety Course on Monday, Oct. 15 and Wednesday, Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. until noon.
The class, though targeted at senior drivers, is open to any aged New York State licensed driver. The class fee is payable only by checks made payable to AARP. No cash will be accepted. The fee for AARP members is $17 or $34 per couple and non-AARP members pay $19 or $38 per couple.
Bring a pen, driver's license and AARP membership card to class. Come at least 10 minutes early on the first day to allow time to sign in. Register by phone at 792-9418 as class size is limited and fills quickly. Anyone who registers and then finds they are unable to attend should keep the phone number to cancel their reservation as a waiting list is always kept of others needing to take the class. Feel free to bring a seat cushion if unable to sit for long periods of time.
