June R. Culver Bartlett, 81, of 8 Lamont St., Jamestown, formerly of Perrysburg, N.Y., passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 in the Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility surrounded by her family.
She was born July 7, 1931 in Rochester, N.Y., the daughter of the late Hollis Hyde and Rose Nelson Culver.
June was currently a member of New Beginnings Fellowship United Methodist Church. Earlier, she was a member of the Perrysburg United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school. She loved working with and spending time with children, especially her own grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of over 60 years, Albert R. Bartlett whom she married Nov. 5, 1949 in Perrysburg; a daughter, Judy (Dwane) Comstock of Busti; a son, Bill (Anna) Bartlett of Ashville; four grandchildren, John, Wendy, Rebecca and April; six great grandchildren, Christian, Renee, KayLeigh, Kalob, Jermin (Vicki) and Amanda; one great great grandson, Cole; and a sister, Jean Claeys of Brockport.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Earl, and Fred Culver; and a sister, Joanne Gross.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 15 in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Aaron Bjork and Rev. Kenneth Hodgins officiated. Burial was in Lake View Cemetery. The family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday in the funeral home where the Koinonia Community sang at 7:45 p.m., Friday.
