FRENCH CREEK - The State Police Aviation unit assisted troopers with locating and eradicating 28 marihuana plants growing behind a residence on Reagan Road in the town of French Creek recently. Troopers arrested the resident, Richard L. Gibbons, II, for the public health law misdemeanor of growing cannabis, and he was released to appear in French Creek Court for further proceedings. State police also found and eradicated 36 marihuana plants cultivated in a wooded area West of Nazareth Road in the town of Clymer. No arrest was made at this time.
