‘Evening of Fine Taste Fundraiser’ and more at Patterson Library

The Patterson Library is now selling tickets for its annual spring fundraiser "An Evening of Fine Taste." The event will take place Saturday, April 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets cost $40 per person and admits attendees the opportunity to try a variety of local wine, delicious food and desserts, piano music and the satisfaction of contributing funds for library programming and materials at the Patterson Library. Tickets can be purchased from a library trustee, or at the main circulation desk of the Patterson Library.

The annual event is hosted by the Patterson Society, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for the Patterson Library. Musical entertainment for "Evening" will be provided by Karin Cockram on piano.

For adults with younger children, there will be a babysitting service in the children's area. This service is free, but tips are encouraged.

The Patterson Library has been serving the community of Westfield since 1896. In 2015, with the help of fundraising from the Patterson Society, the library was able to host 424 programs, which included movie showings, storytimes, book discussions, concerts, children's events and more. Decorative Furniture Painting instructed by Katherine Gullo

The Patterson Library is pleased to present "Decorative Furniture Painting instructed by professional artist Katherine Gullo April 18, 20, 25, 27 from 6-8 pm. The class is free and open to the public but class registration is required and supplies are not provided. The adult art classes are funded by NY State Council on the Arts Decentralization Regrant Program with support from the New York State legislature and Gov. Andrew Cuomo and administered by the Cattaraugus County Arts Council.
