RIPLEY - Craft breweries are becoming a big deal in Chautauqua County and now, thanks to the combined efforts of Kevin Daughrity, owner of Quincy and Sensory Wineries; Jeremy Shampoe, Head Brewer; and Fergie Lutes, manager of Sensory Winery, we have the newest addition to the county's craft brewery line up: 7 Sins Brewery. The brewery, currently located inside Sensory Winery & Gallery at 10593 West Main Road in Ripley will be holding its Grand Opening event on Saturday, July 16 from 5 to 9 pm.

To celebrate this momentous occasion the gang at 7 Sins Brewery will be turning up the heat, under the pig they will be roasting; sharing in the sin, by offering beer specials on their sin-themed brews; and enchanting your senses with live music featuring: Chris & Joylene and The Mulligans, both of Erie, PA fame, as well as a newly hung art show featuring artists from the North Shore Arts Alliance. "You don't want to miss this event," manager Fergie states, "It's going to be a great time and with the new outdoor area and fire pit we will have plenty of room for everyone!"

7 Sins Head Brewer, Jeremy Shampoe, has been working diligently on the sinful brews that will be available during the grand opening. The beers, which are produced right across the street, include a wide range of styles to entice all the sinners and saints alike. "We're proud to offer four of our seven base beers for the grand opening. Lust, a cherry wheat; Greed, a brown ale; Envy, an amber ale and Gluttony, a stout will all be on tap. We'll also have one of our seasonal beers available that we call Blood Orange Ale," says Jeremy.
