On July 17, 46 seniors met at the Mayville VFW for a picnic lunch. Hot dogs were served and everyone brought a dish for the buffet.

Joyce Ayers welcomed everyone and Diane Goodrich gave the Invocation. The meeting was opened with devotions, the pledge to the flag and a moment of silence for Victor Harris. Secretary and Treasurer reports were read and accepted.

There will be a Dinner Social on August 27th from 3-5, location to be determined. Jeff also announced that due to the efforts of Janet Loomis and Ripley's Carol Camp, the trip to Genesee Village will include seniors from both Ripley and Mayville. 39 travelers will leave on Tuesday, August 12th from the Mayville VFW. Please refrain from using perfumes as some are allergic to them.

Mary Carlson listed July birthdays as Jack Abram, Ruth Stacy, Betty Lou Zenns and Josephine Crandall, Life Members, and Fred Anderson, Nancy Navarro, Laona Boser, Frank Barney, Gloria Moore, Mary Lou Catania and Shirley Burnett, regular members.

July Anniversaries are Rita and Leo Lescynski (72 years), Emerson and Sandra Chandler (57 years), and Roger and Sue Klossner.
