James Earle Band to perform in Mayville

July 31, 2014
Westfield Republican / Mayville Sentinel News

Westfield, New York performers 'The James Earle Band' will be the featured performers for the Thursday, August 7, 2014 Entertainment in the Park concert. The performance will be held at Lakeside Park, located along Route 394 on the shores of Chautauqua Lake in the Village of Mayville, NY from 6:30 8:30 p.m.

The James Earle Band members include Jim Scriven on guitar; Tim Kelly on key boards; and Rick Mascaro on trumpet, guitar, harmonica and bass. Between the three band members, they have been making music for over four decades. The James Earle Band entertains audiences performing oldie and classic rock 'n roll. They have performed at such venues as Larry's in Westfield, on the Summer Wind, Peek 'n Peak Resort, Best Western Hotel in Erie, Warren Concerts in the Park, Legions, Moose Clubs, Lakewood Rod and Gun Club, Vikings on the Lake, The Casino, Italian Fisherman, as well as many others. This band graced our Entertainment in the Park concert stage back in 2004 and we are pleased to have them back again this year. Rainbow the Clown (Jerry Stimson) will also be on hand to entertain the children with face painting and creative balloon sculptures. The Maple Springs Fire Dept. will have BBQ dinners at the performances this summer, with the August 7th concert featuring a chicken BBQ. The Mayville Fire Dept. will also be offering popcorn and water at each of the performances as well this summer. This is a great opportunity to support these two great organizations. Plan on coming to Lakeside Park on August 7th for an evening of rock 'n roll on the shores of beautiful Chautauqua Lake.

In case of rain, the performance will be held at the Carlson Community Center also located at Lakeside Park, Mayville. These performances are brought to you free of charge through the generous support and sponsorship by the Town of Chautauqua and Village of Mayville. Remember to bring your own seating to the outside performances. A 50/50 drawing will also be held at each of the concerts this summer, with the winner being announced before the end of each performance. Call the Mayville/Chautauqua Community Chamber of Commerce at (716) 753-3113 or go to our web site at www.mayvillechautauqua.org for more information on this annual concert series or the Mayville/Chautauqua area. We hope to see you at these free concerts Thursday evenings this summer at Lakeside Park, Mayville.
