"Baby Geniuses" ages 0-36 months meet at 9:15 a.m. "Star Gazers" children ages 3 through entering Kindergarten meet at 10:15 a.m. "Backyard Naturalists" children entering Grades 1 & 2 meet at 11:30 a.m.

Mad Scientist Lab

6 p.m. Mad Scientist Lab at the Ripley Free Library. Children entered in the Summer Reading Program will perform experiments with adult supervision. A fun night for everyone.

Westfield Wellness Walkers

Ten themed walks around Westfield plus one bonus walk on Aug. 21 of five miles for those who are up for the challenge. At the end of each walk there will be a drawing to win a TOPS gift card. Event will be held every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. starting June 12 and ending Aug 21. Walkers will meet at the Westfield Family Physicians parking lot. Bring a Friend!!

Plein Air Painting

Plein Air to Painting on location with artists Thomas Annear: 4 Classes at 2 Hours Each. At least two paintings at the SUNY Fredonia Lodge. Thursdays, July 17, 24, 31 & August 7 from 6 to 8 p.m.. There will be one study of a specific rare plant or wildflower and a painting of the habitat immediately surrounding the plant or wildflower from the first painting. Westfield Antique Show

The 76th annual Westfield Antique Show will take place on Saturday, July 19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Once again, this year's event will be at Eason Hall, 23 Elm St., Westfield, N.Y. The event will feature over 20 different dealers from five different states and a wide variety of antiques, including glassware, china, furniture, artwork and much more. Admission is $5 with all proceeds benefiting the Chautauqua County Historical Society, a non profit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing Chautauqua County's rich history. "Fizz, Boom, Read" Summer Reading Program Special Event

Patterson Library "Fizz, Boom, Read" Summer Reading Program Special Event at 11:15 a.m. in the Octagon Art Gallery. A donation from the Westfield Women's Organization made possible a return visit of Doug Rougeux, "The Bubble Man". This very popular summer event is free and all are welcome to attend.

Centering Prayer

First Presbyterian Church, 49 South Portage Street,Westfield, NY. Centering prayer is a time for us to gather together at a designated time to pray. It's a time for us to be still and silent in the presence of God as we pray for ourselves, for each other, for this community, for the church and the world. Please join us every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. - 10:55 a.m. in our sanctuary.

Annual Salad Night

6 p.m. - Ripley Free Library presents the Annual Salad Night. Sit down with your family, friends and neighbors for a scrumptious meal. You must bring a large salad of any kind. Hot dogs and drinks will be provided by the library. Everyone is invited.

Westfield Quilters' Guild Quilt Show

The Westfield Quilters' Guild will be holding their biannual quilt show on Friday, August 8 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), Saturday, August 9 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), and Saturday, August 10 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), at the Westfield Academy and Central School, 203 E. Main Street (Route 20), in Westfield. There will be quilts and wall hangings on display, a raffle quilt, vendors selling fabrics and other quilt-related items, quilt appraisals, and many door prizes. The theme is "From Start to Finish: 20 Years of Learning," to celebrate the guild's 20th anniversary. Admission is $4.00, and is good for the entire weekend. Free parking.
