Angeline Louise Postolowski, 85 years old of Portland, NY passed away after a short illness on Thursday afternoon June 12, 2014 at the Chautauqua County Home in Dunkirk, New York with her family by her side.
She was born in Forestville, New York on Feb. 4, 1929, the daughter of the late Casimer and Lena Buffamonte Polisoto.
Angeline resided in this area most of her life. She was a seamstress by trade and had worked for the Van Raalte Co. of Dunkirk, New York.
She belonged to St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church of Brocton, NY.
Besides her family, Ange-line enjoyed Bingo, gardening, watching the birds, knitting and crocheting.
Angeline was a very special lady to all who knew her and will be greatly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched over the years.
She is survived by one son, John Postolowski of Dunkirk, NY; four grandchildren, Bryan Postolowski, Jennifer Thornton, Kelly Ossman and Kristine Ossman; and three great-grandchildren Adam, Eva and Aubree.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward John Postolowski, who passed away January 16, 2013 and one daughter, Deborah Ossman, who passed away November 6, 2009.
Funeral Services were held at 10 o'clock on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church of Brocton, NY where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Joseph Walter. Interment will fol-low at the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Morse Funeral Home, 51 Highland Ave. in Brocton, NY from 2-4 and 7-9 on Tuesday, June 17, 2014.
