2014 Sherman Central School Salutatorian
Rebekah Lynn Anderson is the daughter of Evan and Christine Anderson. After graduating, Bek plans to attend Houghton College and major in Psychology, with the goal of eventually becoming a doctor of psychiatry. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars. As a member pf the NHS Bek has volunteered her time at the Special Olympics and for the Salvation Army. She has run cross country for the past six years, and plans to continue this sport in college. Bek has played a role in musicals and has been a member of the drama club for the past three years, as well as being involved in high school bowl and the Fellowship of Christian Students. She sings in her school choir, Women's Ensemble, and Pop Rocks group, and is the class treasurer. She is also very involved outside of school. She has been a member of her local 4-H club for several years and volunteers her time at her church's Awana club. Bek remains actively involved in her church, spending time in the nursery, teaching Sunday School, and playing the piano. She has taken piano lessons for nine years and participated in a recital each year. She also has worked at Peek'n Peak as a lifeguard for the past two years. In her free time, Bek enjoys reading, swimming, and running.

Rebekah Lynn Anderson
Kimberly Pacy is the daughter of David and Jill Pacy. After completing a very strenuous course of study Kimberly is ranked second in her class. Throughout high school Kimberly was very involved in extracurricular activities. Kimberly was class secretary, a member of the National honor Society, Chess Club, Math Club and was on the High School Academic Bowl team. She was involved in the school musicals, was a principal alto saxophonist, and was the main editor of the Shermanite Yearbook. Kimberly participated in numerous New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) solo festivals and performed in several All-County bands, including All-County Concert Band and All-County Jazz Band. Last December, Kimberly was selected to perform with the NYSSMA Conference All- State Symphonic Band in Rochester, NY. Outside of school she performed with the Corner Pocket Band, Chautauqua's Finest Sax Quartet, and the Infinity Performing Arts Big Band. In her free time Kimberly enjoys spending time with her family, playing saxophone, and listening to music. Kimberly will be attending Duquesne University as a Pharmacy major and will be a member of the Honors College.

Jordan Boland is the son of Randy and Dana Boland and is the the brother of Halie Boland. Jordan is ranked 3rd in his class and has taken a very rigorous course load.
Jordan is involved in many extracurricular activities. He has participated in three sports, cross-country, track and basketball. Jordan has performed in school musicals and drama play productions. Jordan is a member of the National Honor Society where he is the Vice President, and is President of the SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions). Jordan is involved in FFA (Future Farmers of America) where he has received both state and national medals in different competitions, the Fellowship of Christian Students where Jordan is Vice President, and High School Academic Bowl. Jordan has also been President of his class for the past four years. He is a member of the math club, band, chorus and select chorus. On top of all that Jordan is still a very involved member of his church and always sets time aside for his family and friends. Jordan was selected to attend the Rotary SLAPSHOT leadership program and Boys' State of New York. He has also been selected as Jamestown Post Journal "Standing Out in the Crowd." In his free time Jordan enjoys running, singing, learning, geocaching, and being with friends and family. Jordan is attending Saint Bonaventure University in the fall of 2014 getting a bachelor's degree in bioinformatics. He hopes to apply to dental school and become a practicing dentist.
