Bernice (Phillips) Range

Bernice (Phillips) Range, 74, of Hoag Rd., Panama, New York peacefully went to be with the Lord Saturday April 19, 2014 at WCA Hospital.

She was born July 17, 1939, in Paducah, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Jessie and Annabelle Phillips.

She worked for many years at different business's in the area. After working at Jamesway until they closed, she worked at Timber Creek Golf Course, in her retirement years, talking to and making many friends. Some of Bernices favorite things she enjoyed to do were cooking, knitting making quilts. She loved watching her pet humming birds.

She is survived by her husband, Dale, whom she was married to for over 50 years. Her three children, Kenneth, Michael and Sherry. 8 Grandchildren, Michael Joe, Raquel, Kendra, Arianna, Jordon, Connor, Peyton and Kylie. As well as 2 Great Grandsons, Nathan and Cameron.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her youngest son Brian Range, and by 4 brothers, and 1 sister.

Friends were received from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, April 22, 2014, at the Spitzer Funeral Home 8728 E. Main St. Clymer, NY., and for 1 hour prior to the service at church.

The funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m., April 23, 2014 at the Niobe Baptist Church, with the Rev. Kevin Hadley, pastor of the church officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Niobe Baptist Church, of the Panama Fire Department.
