Rob Burgess and Brandon Jonston combined for a no-hitter as the Westfield Wolverines rolled to a 27-0 victory over Panama in six innings on Wednesday, April 2 in CCAA West II boys high school baseball.

Burgess pitched a perfect five innings as he struck out 13 batters and walked one. Burgess struck out the first 10 batters he faced. Jonston closed the deal with three strikeouts.

The Panthers put the ball in play twice with a groundout and a pop fly to the pitcher.

"It was just a dominating pitching performance," Westfield coach Doug Kaltenbach said. "Rob hardly threw any balls. He pitched great. I don't remember a performance that dominating, as far as strikeouts. (With that many strikeouts), it makes it easy for the rest of us."

Jonston had the hot bat as well with four hits, including two doubles, to drive in five runs. Nolan Hunt went 4-for-4 with two doubles and seven RBI while Burgess had three hits with a double and four RBI.
