A 33 year career science educator, he is past president of the New York State Science Teachers Association, and past treasurer and manager of the 4th Supervisory School District Federal Credit Union (currently the Innerlakes FCU.) He is a 36 year employee of the Chautauqua County seasonal navigation division.

He stated, "I have been privileged to serve the Village of Westfield residents as a member of the Board of Trustees for the past four years. During that tenure, there have been a number of projects which have been initiated and are yet to be completed. Among those projects are upgrades to the waste water treatment facility, upgrades to our street lighting, completion of the west side pump station and a major energy saving project. I would like to see these projects through to completion as I feel they represent a major economic savings to our village residents. I would appreciate your support at the Village elections which will be held March 18 from noon to 9 p.m. at Eason Hall."
