Ripley Free Library hosts Art Exhibit

RIPLEY - Ripley Free Library welcomes March and the hope of spring with their annual Art Exhibit. The library is now accepting paintings, photography, sculpting, pencil sketches, etc. from individuals to be placed on display throughout the month of March. Those wishing to sell artwork, must leave a name and phone number and the library will have any potential buyers contact the artists personally. Please no crafted or quilted items at this time. The artwork will be on display during regular hours of operation

Poetry Night returns on Thursday, March 13 at 6:30 p.m. Participants are asked to recite their original works or read a poem from their favorite poet. Refreshments will be served.

The Friends of the Ripley Library will host a White Elephant Auction to be held at the Ripley Baptist Church on Saturday, March 22 at 5:30 p.m. Everyone must bring a white elephant item that will be auctioned off and a dish to pass. There is no monetary charge to this event, but advance registration is required beforehand as seating is limited.

"Drumbeat Erie" comes to the library on Saturday, March 29 at 10 a.m. Experience a heart pounding, foot tapping program for kids as well as adults.
