NEAC ‘Hoop Dance for Exercise’

February 27, 2014
Westfield Republican / Mayville Sentinel News

The North East Arts Council will offer a 4 workshop series entitled, "Hoop Dance for Exercise" led by Rachel Curtis. Classes will take place Sundays at 4 p.m. on March 2, 9, 16, and 23.

The workshops are recommended for ages 14 and up although no experience is required. Hoop dancing is commonly referred to as "hula hooping" and has evolved into a sophisticated art form as well as a fun way to burn calories and stay fit. The focus of these workshops is to get some exercise and have a good time while doing so.

The entire series is just $20 for Arts Council members or $25 for guests. This fee also includes a custom hoop made just for the participant. Please register with Rachel at rachelcurtis16428@gmail.com or (814)460-4630.
