"In the first half, we looked pretty good," Westfield coach Bob North said. "We used a mix between zone and man (defense). In the third quarter, we had trouble getting into our offense, but we cleaned it up in the fourth."
Tanner Dahl had a solid all-around performance in the win with 14 points, six rebounds, six steals and five assists while Jessie Rodriguez added 10 points.
Ian Clute led Chautauqua Lake with 14 points and eight rebounds in the loss.
"I was really pleased with our defense," North said. "Tennies had a breakout performance. I had been waiting for it and he finally gave it to us. Dahl had a nice overall game and is starting to get others involved."
