Ripley Free Library programs

RIPLEY - Ripley Free Library has kicked off the New Year with many exciting programs with a little something for everyone.

Every Saturday at noon, the library will present a free family movie. A different movie will be shown each week.

A representative from Chautauqua Opportunities will be at the Ripley Library on Feb. 6 to answer any questions regarding health care insurance. Call the library to set up an appointment at 736-3913.

On Jan. 23rd at 6 p.m., Julia Kopta will present a program on Couponing. Learn ways to save money on grocery shopping.

Ada Filutze begins a new one stroke painting class on Feb. 1. This class is meant for intermediate students who have had some prior instruction. The subject will be painting animals. Seating is limited.

Jennifer Ellman from the Office of the Aging will be at the library on Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. to speak on caregiver support and other benefits that the Office of the Aging supplies.

There will be a Valentine's celebration Feb. 14 at the Noble Winery in Westfield. Sweethearts can go out for a night with wine tasting, appetizers and entertainment by Matt Homan. The cost is $12.50 per person. Tickets are now on sale at the Ripley Free Library. Call 736-3913 for more information.
