‘Lake effect’ exhibition to open Jan. 31

RIPLEY - The North Shore Arts Alliance and North East Arts Council are proud to jointly present a new mixed media art exhibition entitled "Lake Effect" which opens Friday, Jan. 31.

"Lake Effect" is a juried gallery art show featuring many local artists from both the NSAA and NEAC in multiple mediums. All artwork reflects an interpretation of water as depicted through photography, oil, sculpture, glass, mixed media, encaustic painting, and watercolor.

North Shore Art Alliance members featured in the show include James Hoggard, Carrie Tredo, Barbara DelMonte, Thomas Annear, Christine Davis Mantai, Ronnie Lafferty, Trenton Lutes and Susan Wolfe.

North East Arts Council members featured in the show include John Ballard, Laura Mikula, Susan Wolfe, Bryan Toy, Christine French, MaryAnn Larsen, Sarah Frye, and Toni Kelly.

The show is hosted by Sensory Winery & Gallery located at 10593 Route 20 in Ripley. Sensory Winery & Gallery winter hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. The show is scheduled to run through March 30.

The public is invited to attend the "Lake Effect" show opening on Friday, Jan. 31 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sensory Winery will provide appetizers and wine tasting. Many featured artists will be on hand. Sensory Winery will also have glasses and bottles of wine available for purchase.
