'Dialogues' to appear on Access Channel 5

"Dialogues" is the name of a half-hour television program produced by Mark Kiyak from SUNY Fredonia. Hosted by Eileen Mowrey, the program will feature guest Vince Horrigan. Horrigan is the recently elected Chautauqua County Executive. Topics will include: How his administration will differ from the previous one, the sale of the County Home, helping existing businesses grow and creating new jobs. Also included will be short and long range goals.

The program will air on Access Channel 5 at 1:30 and 7:30 PM each day beginning on January 11 with the last airing on January 17.

Access Channel 5 is available to cable viewers in the Chautauqua, Mayville, North Harmony, Portland, Sherman, and Westfield areas.

Viewers should note that all area public access channels have been dropped from Time Warner's analog service, but can be received on digital service with a converter at their legacy channel assignment, or on a QAM digital television (channel varies by system) that has been recently autoscanned. Programming from Access Channel 5 (channel 21.4 on a QAM digital TV) is also aired each evening in the Town of Hanover on cable channel 12 (channel 98.3 on a QAM digital TV).

'We Interrupt This Week' to appear on Access Channel 5

"We Interrupt This Week" is a broadcast produced through a collaboration of two classes at SUNY Fredonia: the TV news production class and the news gathering journalism class. Featured guest is John Murphy, a western New York native and voice of the Buffalo Bills.

The program will air on Access Channel 5 at 3 and 9 p.m. each day beginning on Jan. 11 with the last airing on Jan. 17.
