Girls Youth Basketball Clinic for Grades 3 - 6 sponsored by the Westfield Recreation Dept.

Basketball for girls in grades 3 - 4, 5 - 6 will be held on Saturdays from 12 to 2 pm. Sign up at the WACS High School Gym on Jan 11. Fees for Youth Basketball are $20 for the first player in a family, $15 for a second and $10 for the third. ($45 maximum per family). Scholarship assistance is available. Recreation Department programs continue

Pilates on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 9 a. m. at the Eason Hall. Adult Coed Volleyball on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. at Westfield School half gym.

Indoor soccer signups

Sign-ups for indoor soccer will be held from 6 to 8 pm: Monday, Jan. 6 at Meeder's in Ripley; Tuesday, Jan. 7 and Thursday, Jan. 9 at the Eason Hall in Westfield; Wednesday, Jan. 8 at Country Fair in Brocton; and Monday, Jan. 13 at CLCS in Mayville. Players must have been four years old by Jan. 27 and may not turn 14 until April 27. Ages 4 and 5 play Saturday mornings at the Eason Hall in Westfield. Older children play on Saturday afternoon at various schools in the area. Practices are unlikely. The fee is $20 for the first child, $15 for the second, $10 for the third. Three-day trip to Lancaster and Gettysburg, Pa., May 12 through May 14

Signups are being taken, with installments accepted, for a three-day trip to Lancaster, Pa., to see "Moses" at the Millennium Theatre, tour some Amish sites and visit the museum and battlefields at Gettysburg. The cost is $339 per person based on double occupancy and includes four meals.

Summer employment at the Welch Field

Individuals interested in applying for summer jobs at the Recreation Program or the pool can file an application at the village hall window. For pool applications, a life guarding certification is required. Call the office for more information at 326-4243.

Attention walkers

Walkers are welcome to use the Eason Hall Auditorium when it is available.

Help with yard snow shoveling and odd jobs

Westfield residents needing help with snow shoveling and odd jobs are asked to call the Westfield Recreation Department at 326-4243. The Rec Department will assist in arranging for a local teen to help.
