Musette Marie “Muzzy” Clark

Musette Marie "Muzzy" Clark, 87, of Brookside Estates, Jamestown, passed away Tuesday December 17, 2013 in WCA Hospital.

Mrs. Clark was born June 20, 1926 the daughter of the late Garrett Green and Lena Colburn Green Nelson.

She attended a one room school house in Gerry and attended Cassadaga Central School. Mrs. Clark was employed by Fluvanna and Rockman Super Duper in Jamestown and retired in 1988 from Truck Lite in Jamestown.

Muzzy was an avid New York Yankees fan, devoted mother and grandmother, who was known as a fantastic cook. She learned to cook at an early age, and there wasn't anything she couldn't cook. Every meal was a feast and she brought her creative skills to the plate. Her large family always enjoyed going to "Nanas" for every holiday and Muzzy's wonderful food. She was famous for her home made baked beans and none others would compare, she also was an outstanding baker and made many fancy desserts.

Mrs. Clark was a strong independent woman, whom everyone could rely on. Her family has many happy memories and she will be sadly missed by them all.

She is survived by two daughters: Wendella Barry and husband Dennis of Jamestown, Jeannee Koterass of Jamestown, two sons: William H. Marsh of Jamestown and Dennis D. Marsh and wife Jeannette of Bloomingburg, NY, her son in law Herman Peters of Jamestown, whom her children are very thankful to for all the care her gave to her, a brother; Garrett Green and wife Muay of Calf., nine grandchildren; Dennis Barry, Kimberly Kennedy, Brandi Marsh, Jason Marsh, Tony Meuker, Haley Meuker, Korteny Koterass, Hannah Koterass and Michaele Marsh, ten great-grandchildren; Karley Kennedy, Kaitlyn Kennedy, Kendell Kennedy, Grace Marsh, Lauren Marsh, Noah Thayer, Jonah Thayer, Spencer Roggenbaum and twins Drew and Carter Roggenbaum.

She was preceded by a daughter Michaele "Micky" Peters on February 15, 2004, a sister Armenta Larson and two infant sisters.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, where the family received family and friends from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service.
