The Town of Portland's Ahira Hall Memorial Library located in Brocton will be hosting a writer's group after the holidays. Any and all are invited to join.
"The Art of Family History" will be the first writing adventure and the group's focus will be to offer support and encouragement in painting your family history with words. Skill level in writing and genealogy doesn't matter since we're all in it to learn, explore, document the present and re-create the past.
Whether for fun, your children or to mark off your bucket list, this is a wonderful opportunity to continue, revisit or start along your writing path. Host and published author George Clever will be helping the group explore self- and e-publishing (of any genre) as well.
This will be a comfortable and productive group open to discussion about what direction and pace the members wish to pursue. Wednesday Writer's Group will meet every other Wednesday at 6 p.m. beginning Jan. 8. January is "Resolution Time."
Join us to kickoff the year by remembering and documenting years past. Ahira Hall Memorial Library is the location for this event. Please call 792-9418 with an questions or come to 37 W. Main St, Brocton. Emails may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to writing with you.
