CLCS 102, Sheffield 33

CLCS 114, Jamestown 15

Chautauqua Lake Central School defeated Sheffield Area High School 102-33 and Jamestown High School 114-15 in recent WJTN High School Bowl matches at Jamestown Community College.

Player of the Match honors went to Molly Hindman and Alex Swan of Chautauqua Lake.

Other members of the Chautauqua Lake team included Marianna Mathewson, Ben Lawson, Emilie Christie and Heather Sullivan. The team is coached by Mary Jantzi and Kim Sweet.

The Sheffield team, coached by Sally Ambrose, included Bailey Reed, Harlee Johnson, Randy Johnson, Rachel Maines, Morgan Leichtenberger, Morgan Hoffman, Marlea Sprandle, Mackenzie James, Doug Grubbs, Cheyanne Wills, Dan Rulander, D.J., Hawk, Erica Isenberg, Sabrina Spencer and Kennedy McNeal.

Skyler Gore, Devin Hamilton-Krause, Kassie Kum, Makayla Marcotte, Melissa McGrath and Andrea Swiderski represented Jamestown. The team is coached by Curtis Carr and James Krause.

High School Bowl, now in its 53rd year, is produced by Media One Group in cooperation with JCC and sponsors including the JCC Alumni Association, Honest John's Pizza and Wings, Jamestown Mattress, Lind Funeral Home, Pepsi, SKF Aeroengine North America, Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, and Delta Kappa Gamma, the International Honor Society of Women Educators.

Fillmore 122, Fredonia 26

Fillmore 75, Sherman 68

Fillmore Central School defeated Fredonia Central School 122-26 and Sherman Central School 75-68 in recent WJTN High School Bowl matches at Jamestown Community College.

Player of the Match honors went to Nathaniel Lacelle-Peterson and Mason Kelley of Fillmore and Bryan Tenpas of Sherman.

The Fillmore team, coached by Deb Woltag and Bill Kelley, also included Hannah Hijleh, Tim Jackson, Olivia Tetta and Michael McDonald.

Fredonia was represented by Kale Mendez-Demello, Randy Butts, and Andrew Mignoli. The team is coached by Kerry Seastrum. The Sherman team, coached by Karen Beimel, included Ryan Carpenter, Kim Pacy and Nicholas Hlifka.

Warren 116, Westfield 51

Westfield Academy and Central School defeated Frewsburg Central School 70-20 but lost to Warren Area High School 116-51 in recent WJTN High School Bowl matches at Jamestown Community College.

Player of the Match honors went to Ashlee Poletto of Westfield and Molly Berardi of Warren.

The Westfield team, coached by Jeffrey Payne, also included Alex Michels, Davis Bates, Kaitlyn Meegan, Josh McCord, Kylan Connolly, Jason Babcock, Cassia Connolly, Christopher Cockram, Peter Manzella, Emma Mason, Alaina Cockram and Sara Campbell.

Other Warren team members included Shoshanna Ochocki, Taylor Proper, Derek Hanlin, and Tyler Dziendziel.

Members of the Frewsburg team included Derek Smith, Morgan Scarpino, Brandon Zebrowski, Jesse Ernewein, Anthony Mole, Justin Randall, Paul Mole, Colin Marchincin, and David Lobb. The team is coached by Shaun Laska.
