Kiwanis Club of Westfield-Ripley holds dinner for Autism Research

On Oct. 9, the Kiwanis club held a dinner for Autism research at St Dominic's church hall. President Pat Testrake stated that this was the first of two dinners to be held this yeaer for Autism. The club would like to thank the following members for their participation and enthusiasm in preparing and putting on a successful event

Ed Barger, Patti Barger, Marcia Ducato, Robert Ducato, Donna Franklin, William Karrow, Henry Lynn, John Sinden, Pat Testrake and Liz Weatherly.

We would also like to thank the Westfield Builders Club and their advisor Diane Scarpine for their efforts in making the event a success.

The local clubs fund raising this year will focus on Autism, Juvenile Diabetes and reading programs for all we can serve in addition funds will be donated to the following organizations: Union Relief, Ripley Hose Auxilary, The food pantries of Westfield and Ripley. The sponsored leadership programs of Key Clubs and Builders Clubs sponsored by the local club.
