Dianne M. Brown, 69, of Bemus Point passed away Wednesday (November 6, 2013) in UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA.

A lifelong area resident she was born June 10, 1944 in the Town of Ellery, the daughter of the late Emel and Marguerite Lown Lund.

Dianne was a graduate of Bemus Point High School and was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of the Ellery Center Volunteer Fire Department and had served on the Chautauqua County Board of Elections.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dianne also enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls and California Raisin containers, listening to music, reading, volunteering for fund raisers at the fire hall and researching geology of her family.

Surviving are her husband John L. Brown whom she married January 25, 1961 in Stockton, NY, five children: Paul V. (Dianne) Brown of Bemus Point, Charles A. (Susan) Brown of Fluvanna, Chrystal L. (Valorie) Brown of Sinclairville, Eva L. Brown of Bemus Point, Kevin J. (Stephanie) Brown of Lexington, SC; 17 grandchildren; Jesse Brown, Michelle Edwards, Jolene Brown, Alisha Bochman, Christian Sanders, Jillian Crist, Natalie Brown, Chad Brown, Lindsey Brown, Candace Lang, Katlin Brown, Crystal Brown, Herman Kelwaski, Melissa Mitchell, Rebecca Kelwaski, Ashley Brown, Preston Brown, 11 great grandchildren; two brothers: Richard Lund of Las Vegas, NV, Emel "Sonny" (Jackie) Lund of Florida, four sisters: Suzanne (William) Bentley of Ashville, Gretchen (Mike) Palmieri of Ellery Center, Cathleen (Jake) Little of Governor, NY and Judy (Mike) Neal of Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son Rev. John H. Brown who died August 10, 1985; two brothers: Donald Kilbury, William Lund and an Uncle Theodore Lund.

The funeral was at 12 p.m. (Noon) Monday, Nov, 11 in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Ray Mitchell will officiate. Burial was in Centralia Union Cemetery.

The family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10 and one hour prior to the funeral service Monday.

Contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral and burial expenses.
