WMHF receives donation from Key Club

November 7, 2013
Westfield Republican / Mayville Sentinel News

WESTFIELD - The Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation (WMHF) Director of Development Patricia Gaughan DiPalma and Vice President Mary Ann Woleben were recently given a $340.50 check from members of the Westfield Academy Central School Key Club to benefit the 2013 WMHF Annual Campaign.

"The WMH Foundation is grateful to our young donors from next door who realize the importance of philantrophy and giving back to one's community. The gift, given with no restrictions, will be used to enhance the foundation's mission 'to work with Westfield Memorial Hospital to provide financial support for the delivery of high quality health care to the residents of the Chautauqua Region."'

Key Club provides high school students with the opportunity to serve others. In doing so, they expand their personal horizons beyond their immediate peer group to a larger community, be it their school, their neighborhood, their community or even their nation.

The Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation (WMHF) Director of Development Patricia Gaughan DiPalma and Vice President Mary Ann Woleben were recently given a $340.50 check from members of the Westfield Academy Central School Key Club to benefit the 2013 WMHF Annual Campaign.

By participating in service projects through Key Club, high school students learn the joy of helping others, the benefits of teamwork and the satisfaction of personal achievement. "By giving to the hospital foundation," DiPalma said, "our students realize the importance of keeping our community hospital (one of Westfield's greatest treasures) viable now and well into the future."

For more information on how you or your organization can help the hospital foundation, contact Development Director Patty DiPalma at 716-793-2338, or for more information on the Key Club at Westfield Academy Central School, call Talena Baideme at 716-326-2151.
