CLYMER - A new expansion project at The Fairway Suites at the Peek'n Peak is a privately owned joint venture between French Creek Properties LLC and American Resort Management LLC. The $2 million project consists of an addition to the existing Fairway Suites. The addition will house a great room with stone fireplace, greeting and registration area with wine bar and light snacks, full state of the art fitness center complete with yoga mats and juice bar, outdoor Infinity Pool with water gardens, outdoor year round eight person hot tub with outdoor television, gas fire pit and extensive patio garden.
The property has 36 individual studios and suites that can be configured in various forms up to 12 three bedroom suites. During 2012-2013, all interiors of the suites, including new furnishings, granite/stainless steel kitchens, outdoor patios and balconies have been remodled.
The king suites all have multiple baths, in-suite laundry facilities and fireplaces. Access to all amenities is included with a stay at the suites. Day passes and memberships will be available to the public for the new fitness center with discounted rates and preference to Chautauqua County residents.

"Today's guests are more demanding than ever," said Richard Coleman, Senior Vice President of Operations and Business Development with American Resort Management. "It is no longer just about providing excellent guest service, but rather in today's age it is critical to provide a positive guest experience. We believe that the new Clubhouse will further enhance the overall guest experience, which fits perfectly with our philosophy of providing the ultimate guest experience to every guest during every visit."
"The County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency was delighted to be able to assist this project with Tax Lease and PILOT incentives," said Bill Daly, Administrative Director/CEO of the CCIDA. "In keeping with our continuous initiative to use local labor we commend The Fairway Suites for having 95 percent of all labor, remodeling and design handled by local contractors, companies and workers. Rich Dixon, our CFO, also needs to be commended for explaining the benefits of our incentives so well. That led to their doing the entire project now as opposed to doing it in phases over two to three years."
Daniel Smith, General Manager at The Fairway Suites at the Peak said, "We are beyond excited about the ground breaking of the new Clubhouse. Since day one, our goal has been to give the guests and the community as a whole more value, more amenities, more comfort, service and attention to detail than one would expect. We have been pleasantly surprised by just how popular Chautauqua Institution and the area wineries are with our guests, and with the addition of the Wine Bar and Meeting Area in the new clubhouse, we are fast becoming a great lodging choice for wine tours in the region. During the winter months, skiing is obviously the big draw, but due to easy access/parking, fireplaces and in-suite laundry, those traveling the over 400 miles of Chautauqua County snowmobile trails have found Fairway Suites to be ideal for their needs."
The owner of French Creek Properties LLC is James Bennett, who is originally from Corry, Pa, and grew up in northwest Pennsylvania and southern Chautauqua County. Jeff Mona and Richard Coleman are the principals for American Resort Management LLC. Daniel Smith presides as General Manager for Fairway Suites.
