Oct. 4 - PANAMA - Chautauqua Lake overcame a 2-0 deficit to Panama and won the final three games to edge the Panthers, 24-26, 17-25, 26-24, 25-13, 25-17, to remain unbeaten at 7-0 in the West Division 2 girls volleyball on Thursday.
Jenna Einink had 28 kills, an ace, 23 digs and four blocks for the Lady Thunderbirds. Ashton Albanesius had 12 kills, four aces, 15 digs and two blocks; and Tara Hunt had five kills, 12 digs and two assists for Chautauqua Lake.
Also for Chautauqua Lake, now 11-0 overall, Kylee Braymiller recorded six kills and two aces, Katie Meadows had 11 digs and 26 assists, and Katie Doyle 14 digs.

For Panama (5-2, 6-6), Brittany Lenart had four aces, 15 kills, five blocks and five digs; Carly Abbate picked up four aces, six kills and 18 assists; Taylor Bowen had five kills and 15 assists; Calli Davenport recorded two aces, three kills and 11 digs; Ally Strickland had an ace and five digs; and Naomi Kenny had three blocks.
The Panama jayvees won, 25-9, 25-18, 21-25.
Clymer moves to 4-5
CLYMER - Backed by Marissa Trisket, Clymer moved to 4-3 in the league and 4-5 overall by sweeping Maple Grove (0-9, 0-11), 25-22, 25-9, 25-21.
Trisket recorded 12 points, two aces, three assists and two digs for the Lady Pirates.
Miranda Marucci added 12 points, an ace and four kills; Breanna Summers had six points, a kill and an assist; Amanda Einink had five points and two kills; and Samantha Nickerson had five points and six digs in the win.
Nicole Hemminger recorded 11 points, five kills and 10 digs for Maple Grove while Paige Hammond had eight points, two kills and four digs, Sierra Sperenza recorded seven points, an ace and 14 digs; and Jazmine Hannold had seven points for Maple Grove.
Clymer jayvees also won, 14-25, 25-15, 25-22.
SINCLAIRVILLE - Katrina Christmas recorded eight kills and three aces as Sherman (4-3, 5-4) swept Cassadaga Valley (1-6, 1-12), 25-13, 26-24, 25-16.
Bridget Yaw had three kills, Shenley Luden six assists, and Cadi Hannold picked up six assists for the winners.
For Cassadaga Valley, Heather Dorler delivered four kills and two digs;Autumn Houle had five kills, an assist and an ace. Alyssa Hahn recorded 12 assists and an ace; and Hope Zielinski had three kills, three aces and two blocks.
Brocton-Westfield wins third match in a row
Oct. 3 - BROCTON - Lindsay Harp shined Wednesday with five kills, 10 blocks and three aces as the Brocton-Westfield Lady Bulldogs (4-7, 2-5) rallied past Sherman (4-4, 3-3), 18-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-22, Wednesday in non-league girls high school volleyball.
The win was the Lady Bulldogs' third in a row.
Jess Putcher added four kills, one ace and four digs while Carson Hauser contributed with eight assists for the winners.
The Lady Wildcats were led by Katrina Christmas' three kills and as many blocks. Roxanne Toy finished with three kills and Cadi Hannold had six assists in a losing effort.
Brocton-Westfield also won the jayvee match.
