Introduction to MS Word, Oct. 16, 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.
This is an introductory class in MS Word. Areas covered will be how to create and edit documents including word art, clip art, drop caps, auto shapes, text boxes and other objects. Also an introduction to newsletter formation, creating tables, etc.
Introduction to the Internet, Oct. 21, 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.
Students will learn what the internet is and how to access it and how to effectively search for information, e-mail, surfing the internet and finding reliable information.
File Management , Oct. 23, 2-5 p.m.
Where did that file go? This course is designed to make sure you never ask that question again! Learn to keep your files in check.
Introduction to MS Excel, Oct. 23, 6-9 p.m.
Instruction will be given on entering data into cells, viewing data, and printing out worksheets. Also formatting numbers and text; using the format painter; inserting, deleting and modifying rows and columns; creating and using formulas and modifying charts.
