Outside of school Megan's volunteer activities include Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign, Footsteps as a Leader, Hebrew Congregation and baby sitting. She also works as a server for a local catering business and is very active in her church.

Most outstanding is the founding of MRS Cookies. Megan was in need of funds to off-set the cost of her international trips, so she began her own cookie business.
