Jamestown- In a cooperative effort with Lake View Cemetery, the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame will conduct a walking tour to the grave sites of the 10 CSHOF inductees interred at the well-known Jamestown cemetery. The tour will occur on Monday, Aug. 5, at 6:30 p.m.
The tour will visit the burial plots of Ben Bishop, Oscar Carlson, Jimmy Clark, Dan Feather, Tony LeVoie, Johnny Newman, John O'Neil, Lyle Parkhurst, Bill Present and Clayt Webeck. CSHOF docents will offer presentations about each inductee and their contributions to sports in Chautauqua County.

Tour participants should meet at the cemetery maintenance building near the Marvin Parkway entrance at the north end of the cemetery. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.
Donations will be gratefully accepted and will assist the Sports Hall of Fame in meeting its mission: To honor and preserve the sports history of Chautauqua County.
