Local church now accepting clothing donations

July 25, 2013
Westfield Republican / Mayville Sentinel News

Lakeshore Assembly of God Church, at 252 E. Main Street, in Westfield, is now hosting the Westfield location of the St. Pauly's clothing drop-off shed. Items dropped off in the shed (in the church's rear parking lot) will be distributed to people who can use them in the United States and around the world. Based on the amount of clothing collected each month, St. Pauly's makes a donation to the Westfield Ministerial Association which is used to minister to needs within our local community.

So while the community is urged to recycle their closets, only the following items, which should be bagged, are accepted at the shed: usable clothing, shoes, sneakers, belts, purses, linens, pillow cases, blankets, curtains or stuffed animals. (No rags, fabric scraps, pillows, toys or household goods, please.)

With Lakeshore Assembly of God's convenient location on Main Street in Westfield, the hope is to collect lots of clothing and other items to share with people in need. Call the church office (326-3317) for more information or learn more about St. Pauly's Textiles at www.StPaulyTextile.com
