CHAUTAUQUA - Travis J. Logan, 29, of West Rd., Cherry Creek was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail on charges of Felony driving while intoxicate, aggravated DWI blood alcohol content 0.18 percent or higher, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speed not reasonable and prudent, failure to keep right, fail to maintain lane, no inspection, no splash guards and operating motor vehicle while talking on cell phone on Monday, June 3.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle accident on Elm Flats Road in the Town of Chautauqua around 8:15 p.m. After an investigation, Logan was taken into custody and charged. Logan was arraigned in Westfield Town Court and remanded to the jail on bail. Logan will answer the charges in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.

DUNKIRK - Richard Godbey, 55, of Brocton was charged with driving while intoxicated common law, DWI per se 0.08% blood alcohol content or higher and leaving the scene of a property damage accident on Friday, June 7.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded to a report of a vehicle which went off the road striking a guide rail then fleeing the scene around 11:30 p.m. Deputies allegedly located a license plate at the scene of the accident which led officers to the registered owners residence. Further investigation after the suspect vehicle was allegedly located led to the arrest of Godbey. He was released with traffic tickets and is to appear in Dunkirk Town Court at a later date.

CHAUTAUQUA - Henry B. Stovall, 35, of Dunkirk was charged with speeding, driving while intoxicated, DWI per se operating a motor vehicle with 0.08 of 1 percent or more alcohol on Saturday, June 8.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies on patrol on Route 430 in the Town of Chautauqua allegedly observed a vehicle speeding around 1 a.m. The vehicle was stopped and Stovall was allegedly identified as the operator. Through an investigation, deputies allege Stovall was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition and arrested him. Stovall was processed and released with traffic citations directing him to appear in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date and time.

NORTH HARMONY - Joshua Risley, 24, of Gerry was charged with moved from lane unsafely on Monday, June 10.

According to the sheriff's office, the department investigated a single vehicle accident in front of Camp Chautauqua on Route 394 in the Town of North Harmony around 11:45 a.m. An investigation allegedly showed Risley, in an attempt to miss a car slowing down in his lane, traveled off of the roadway and struck a telephone pole, overturned and struck a flagpole. The sheriff department was assisted at the scene by the Ashville Fire Department. Risley was issued a ticket to appear in North Harmony Town Court at a later date. Risley reported no injuries at the time of the accident.
