County Executive endorses bowl-a-thon

Chautauqua County Executive Greg Edwards has endorsed the 2013 Chautauqua Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Council "Helping Keep Kids off Drugs" Bowl-a-thon.

Edwards encourages the community to support CASAC to raise funds to provide prevention education and intervention services to Chautauqua County youth. Members of the community are invited to participate in the Thursday, June 6 Bowl-a-thon by organizing bowling teams and collecting pledges for their team. The bowler's total score will be multiplied by the pledged amount. Anyone interested in forming a team or joining one of CASAC's teams should call the CASAC office at 664-3608 or go to for more information.

Those who do not wish to bowl in the event can help by mailing donations to CASAC, 501 W. 3rd St., Suites 3 and 4, Sprinchorn Building, Jamestown, N.Y. 14701.
