NORTH HARMONY - One thing any individual can never count on are the activities occurring at the monthly meeting of the North Harmony Senior Citizens
There were 56 people in attendance at the dinner on Monday, April 15 at the center.
The meeting honored the birthday celebrants Chuck Nash, Penny Rossy, Bill de la Creda and Rita Lecsynski. Ellen Coffaro celebrated a wedding anniversary. Marty and Al LaFredo, Juanita and Paul Holthouse, Barbara Price and Phyllis Huling were the host for the dinner. Marty LaFredo supplied the birthday cake.
Club business was conducted as usual. After the formal proceedings, a baked goods auction was held for the participants. Every year the talents of the bakers are demonstrated by their production of cakes, cookies, pies and any other edible creation that can be made. Each item was auctioned off and the proceeds of the sale went to the club treasury. The auction was conducted by the one and only auctioneer Steve Saulsgiver and his trusted assistants Earl Ferry and Charlie Krause.
The May meeting will be held on Monday, May 18. In addition to the meeting proceedings, there will be an item auction consisting of any type of object, box or surprise members donated for this event.
A roast beef on kimmelweck and polish sausage dinner will be served. Members are urged to bring a dish to pass. Chuck and Dorothy Krause, Pat Baker and Everett and Eleanor King will be the hosts. King will provide the birthday cake.
