BROCTON - Cecile M. Jordan, 67, of 8610 Route 380, Brocton, died Wednesday (May 15, 2013) at Absolut Care in Westfield.
She was born Dec. 26, 1945, in Beaver Falls, Pa., the daughter of the late Miles and Elva Myers Anthony.
Cecile had been a housekeeper for 19 years at Chautauqua Institution.

Cecile loved her dogs, life, family and work and was a great cook. She really loved her family, and they were everything to her.
She is survived by her husband, James W. Jordan, whom she married Oct. 6, 1973, in Brocton, N.Y.; a brother, Miles (Susan) Anthony of Silver Creek; brother in-law, Henry Rohman of Westfield; sister in-laws, Ruth (Sam) Brucculeri of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Helen Russell of Grove City, Pa.; nieces and nephews, Henry Lee, Miles, Michelle, Jeff, Leroy, Terri, Sharon Ann and Beverly; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Almeda Rohman; and sister in-law, Violet Jordan.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 18 in the Freay Funeral Home, 139 S. Erie St., Mayville. Rev. William Leslie, chaplain with Hospice, officiated. Burial was in the Westfield-Portland Union Cemetery. The family received friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
