May 22, 2013
Westfield Republican / Mayville Sentinel News

WESTFIELD - The intent is to preserve and enhance the historic charm of the Village of Westfield by regulating signs within the village.

In order to avoid chaotic, unsafe, or unattractive clutter, all signs within the village limits are subject to these restrictions. See Code of VOW 155-53.

Temporary signs and banners for charitable events and public celebrations signs may be posted on the village sign board in Moore Park, but first must be approved by the Village Clerk prior to posting. Street banners and flags for such events are subject to the same approval.

All such signs must be removed the day after the event.

Signs are not to be affixed to trees or utility poles.

Household sales shall be limited to three separate periods of three days each year per location. See Code of VOW 155-44.
