FRENCH CREEK - Todd B. Farabaugh, 18, of North East, Pa., was charged with two separate speed in zone violations - 40 in a 25 zone and 75 in a 35 zone - reckless driving, failed to comply, failure to signal, failure to stop at a stop sign and imprudent speed on Sunday, May 5.

According to the police office, Farabaugh allegedly lead troopers on a pursuit through the Peek N Peak resort in the Town of French Creek. Troopers allegedly attempted to stop the vehicle operated by Farabaugh on Canterbury Drive. Farabaugh allegedly failed to stop and led troopers on a pursuit that went by the Upper Golf Course and onto Olde Road. The suspect allegedly failed to stop at stop signs and was speeding at 75 mph in the 35 zone in front of the resort. The pursuit allegedly continued onto Griffin Road, Pekin Hill Road and Fox Road Once on Fox Road, the pursuit was terminated by troopers after the suspect allegedly entered Pennsylvania. The pursuit allegedly lasted approximately five miles. The Pennsylvania State Police from Erie were contacted and able to locate the suspect's vehicle. The suspect was contacted and turned himself in to State Police Jamestown. He was issued tickets.
