WESTFIELD - Elizabeth A. Horn, 23, of Range Rd., Union City, Pa., was committed to the Chautauqua County Jail on charges of second-degree aggravated harassment on Tuesday, April 23.

According to the police office, it received a complaint fro a Westfield resident on March 3 that she was allegedly receiving threatening and harassing phone calls from Horn. On April 23, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department arrested Horn on the warrant signed by Judge Thomas while Horn was at Family Court in Mayville around 1:45 p.m. Westfield police arraigned Horn in front of Judge LaPorte, and Horn was committed to jail on $500/$1,000 bail.

WESTFIELD - Joshua A. Powell, 27, of Mayville was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument on Wednesday, April 24.

According to the police office, police allegedly observed a suspicious male outside of a local convenient store located at 128 E. Main St., Westfield around 10 p.m. Upon further investigation, the officers allegedly found Powell to be in possession of two hypodermic needles and a controlled substance. Powell was charged, arraigned in Westfield Village Court and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail on bail. Powell will appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.

WESTFIELD - Alexa E. McCurray, 23, of S. Portage St., Westfield was charged with criminal sale and criminal possession of a controlled substance on Thursday, April 25.

According to the police office, police allegedly observed McMurray in the front yard area on S. Portage St., Westfield around 4 p.m. Westfield police were aware the subject allegedly had an outstanding arrest warrant from Chautauqua County Court. Police arrested McMurray on the outstanding warrant of violating the terms on two previous Felony charges, and she was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.

WESTFIELD - Daniel K. Dunmore, 22, of Washington St., Westfield was charged with two counts of second-degree harassment on Friday, April 26.

According to the police office, after an investigation by the Westfield Police Department, Dunmore was issued two appearance tickets around 3:30 p.m., to appear in Westfield Village Court. The charges stem after a neighbor allegedly reported Dunmore committed acts over a period of time that seriously annoyed the neighbor and the neighbor's daughter.

WESTFIELD - Garett J. Bowen, 20, of Ripley was charged with fail to keep right and back seat passenger under 16-years-old no seat belt and a 16-year-old Westfield male youth was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle on Sunday, April 28.

According to the police office, police allegedly stopped a vehicle operated by Bowen on W. Main St., Westfield for a traffic infraction around 1 a.m. During the traffic stop, it was allegedly found that a 16-year-old male Westfield youth passenger possessed an open container of alcohol. It was also allegedly found that the male youth was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. The male youth was arrested, and Bowen was issued traffic tickets. Bowen and the male youth are to appear in Westfield Village Court on a later date.

WESTFIELD - Thomas Nellis, 52, of Cass St., Westfield was charged with third-degree assault on Sunday, April 28.

According to the police office, officers responded to Westfield Memorial Hospital around 2:45 p.m. for a victim allegedly involved in a domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers were informed that suspect Nellis allegedly punched the victim in the face with a closed fist causing bruising, bleeding and swelling. Officers obtained a warrant for Nellis, and he was charged. Nellis was arraigned in Westfield Village Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on cash bail.
