JAMESTOWN - Maple Grove High School defeated Sherman Central School 95-52 in a recent WJTN High School Bowl match at Jamestown Community College.
Henry Kestner of Maple Grove earned Player of the Match honors. The Maple Grove team, coached by Jason VandeVelde, also included Abby Sirwatka, Caroline Benson, Christina Walter, Keith Carolus, Nick Bowers, Jesse Pardue, Andre Delcalzo and Elliott Clark.
The Sherman team included Bryan Tenpas, Ryan Carpenter, Nick Hlifka, Alexandria Anderson, Kimmy Pacy, Rebekah Anderson, Brandon Van Curan, Nick Frew, Alex Foti and Chris Silka. The team is coached by Karen Beimel.
In another match, Randolph Central School defeated Westfield Academy and Central School 86-44. Adam and Nolan Ditcher of Randolph shared Player of the Match honors.
Other Randolph teammates included Bethany Carr, Peter Vincent and Rebecca Tally. The team is coached by Jennifer Bieniek.
The Westfield team, coached by Jeffery Payne, included Greg Momberger, Alex Michels, Ashlee Poletto, Don Wood, Abby Wood, Kaitlyn Meegan, Peter Manzella, Chris Cockram, Sarah Kelly, Josh McCord, Davis Bates, Ariel Fuentes and Dakota Pramesa.
