WESTFIELD - The Stations of the Cross is usually held in a church as parishioners walk around the church reflecting at each station. For the church community of Westfield, there was a twist in the Stations of the Cross.
The Westfield Ministerium, a collection of churches, came together to celebrate the Stations of the Cross Friday afternoon by presenting "The Way of the Cross." The annual event has been held in the village for the past 15 years. Pastor Matt Golibersuch of the Westfield First United Methodist Church said the event is successful in bringing all different denominations together.
"It brings all the churches together. We all have different focuses and we each bring something different," he said.
