Two buildings in Westfield destroyed in fire

WESTFIELD - Tuesday morning, April 3 at about 4:30 a.m., firefighters were called to 7721 Martin Wright Road for a barn fire.

According to Westfield Volunteer Fire Department First Assistant Chief David Davies, the structure was fully involved when the firefighters arrived. The house also became fully involved, and both structures were termed a total loss.

The husband and wife were at home at the time of the fire. There were no injuries to either the occupants or the emergency personnel.
